How A Bike Shop Turned Holiday Deals Into Sold-Out Inventory And 32x ROAS
$11,615 in ad spend produced $371,900 in tracked revenue — a 32x blended holiday ROAS.
The ingredients behind an epic holiday return
What happens when you combine deep holiday discounts, plenty of in-stock inventory, and video ads that actually sell the product? A near sell-out season and a 30x+ return on ad spend.
This client had everything lined up: strong bike deals, real inventory depth, and a store owner willing to get on camera and show the products in detail. That last part mattered a lot.
Instead of leaning on basic product images, we used real video showing each bike up close — how it looked, how it worked, and why the deal was worth acting on. Customers didn't have to guess what they were buying.
Our 1-2 combo Google Ads strategy for high-end bicycles
The setup was simple but powerful. First, YouTube Ads built demand: we promoted the owner's bike videos to earn attention and show off inventory in a way static ads can't.
Second, Google Shopping and Performance Max captured buyers. We pushed the product feed through shopping-focused campaigns so people ready to purchase could find the exact bikes they wanted.
Account structure and media buying approach
The campaigns supported each other. YouTube got the bikes in front of the right people, Shopping and Performance Max turned that interest into sales, the videos made the products feel trustworthy and exciting, and the holiday pricing gave shoppers a reason to act fast.
This was never about buying clicks. It was about matching the right message to the right stage of the buying process.
November Google Ads results
November came out swinging. Across Nov 1–30, 2025, $5,229.59 in ad spend produced 489,775 impressions, 6,709 clicks at a $0.78 average CPC, and 70 conversions worth $199,166.17 — a 38.08x ROAS.
That's just under $200,000 in tracked conversion value from a little over $5,200 in spend. The biggest driver was the Shopping / Performance Max campaign, which alone produced $197,612.88 in conversion value at 47.29x ROAS.

December Google Ads results
December kept the momentum going. Across Dec 1–30, 2025, $6,385.92 in spend produced 629,769 impressions, 10,257 clicks at a $0.62 average CPC, and 68 conversions worth $172,734.20 — a 27.05x ROAS.
Even with more spend in market, the campaigns stayed highly efficient and continued producing strong sales through the peak holiday window.

Combined holiday season results
Across November and December: $11,615.51 in ad spend, 1,119,544 impressions, 16,966 clicks, 138 conversions, and $371,900.37 in tracked conversion value — a 32.02x blended ROAS.
About $11.6k in ad spend turned into nearly $372k in tracked revenue during the holiday season.
What made this Google Ads campaign different
Plenty of retailers run product ads. Very few pair those ads with authentic video that helps shoppers feel confident about what they're buying.
The owner's product videos gave the campaigns personality. They showed the bikes in detail, made the deals feel real, and moved shoppers from browsing to "I want that one." Great inventory, strong pricing, product-focused video, and a smart Google Ads setup create serious momentum fast.
The outcome that mattered most
The real win wasn't a high ROAS number on a dashboard — it was selling through most of the inventory during the holiday season, which is exactly what the shop needed.
Instead of letting great in-stock deals sit unnoticed, we put those bikes in front of the right shoppers at the right time and turned holiday demand into real revenue.
